Our first look at Heroic Ramparts as a guild came on Friday night as five adventurers put their heroic keys in the lock of Ramparts and ventured in to see what was inside.  The group was made up of Bindindah, Daviddgnome, Drehyk, Jusdelamour, and Zelec. 

We spent about 3 hours tackling our first Heroic run.  Many deaths were to be had and a lot of lessons learned.  Jusdelamour got a nice cloak as an upgrade off the first boss, the Cloak of the Everliving.  Nothing else of consequence dropped.

A little humor was had after the first wipe of the second boss, something funny was said on vent and Daviddgnome auto-ran into the boss and we wiped again.  We were having so much fun that it didn't matter. 

The last boss proved too difficult for us as it became obvious that we were going to need some more fire resistance to be successful against the Heroic dragon.

One thing we learned is that you can't take any mob lightly in heroic mode.  All of them hit hard and you really have to be on top of your game.  Missed Sheep, bad pulls, fears into aggro range, or any other unexpected pull of a mob is likely to wipe the group.  I'm looking forward to running this many times more as this is the difficulty that I thought was missing from the expansion.  I hope you all will be working on the reputation for your heroic keys as well!
