Gruul's Lair: 6/22/08

The long awaited trip to Gruul's Lair began on Sunday with several hearty adventurers from Virtute Et Armis joining forces with some of our friends to put Gruul on notice that we are not afraid.  After gathering our friends together and distributing flasks for those who needed them, we began our first attempt at this instance. 

With many of us being new to this instance, we expected that it would take us a while to figure out the fights, but as it turned out, other than a bad start on the first attempt at High King Maulgar, we were able to take out him and his 4 cronies on the second attempt.  Many thanks to Sandros who saved the day by picking up the High King near the end when the tank went down.  This allowed the remaining adventurers to finish him off.

Then it was time to pay Gruul a call and here is the end result!

Many thanks to our friends who came along and helped us, particularly Sandros, Nimbledorf, Chlo, Garreth, Exelus, Windwalk, Peona, Kiralyn and Jorallan.  Your advice was timely and helpful.  I'm sure I'm left many out, so thanks to all of you who came and helped make us successful.
